I saw Lady GaGa a few weeks ago and she played a new song. I kind of hate when artists play new material at their shows because I only want to hear things I can sing along to, but I am totally and completely in love with this song. I can't wait to hear the studio copy. Also, observation- when you type "L-A" in youtube, Lady GaGa is the first thing that comes up. Kind of awesome for her.

Okay I know that Taylor Swift is a squinty-eyed and untrustable but I saw this video this morning on MTV and it seriously made me cry. Pure Satisfaction

Best album of 2008 just sayin. No but seriously, Circus is a great album and any Britney fan will be totally into it. Black Out was what it was, but Circus actually sounds like Britney sang (or attempted to anyway) these songs and actually had some enthusiasm for it. I can't wait for her to go on tour so I can spend a billion dollars to watch lipsynch and wriggle awkwardly on stage. I've also been listening a lot to Kanye West- 808s and Heartbreak and The Killers- Day and Age. Both albums are sooo good. I'm so impressed by Kanye's new album. It really deviates from his normal style but it hits hard. Definitely check them out.

New Kanye West song, Love Lockdown. I thought there would be VMA footage of this but apparently no only this shitty like fucking montage videos but whatever. I don't really know how I feel about this song but I like the idea of having my love locked down so its good in my book I guess.

Last night I saw the most ew commerical ever. It was for Lincoln, some new stupid Lincoln car that probably has like crazy cool navigation/music/voice activation features and shit but you know what its still a Lincoln. And for some reason they really thought it would be appropriate to use some semi remix of Technologic as the accompanying music. Come on man. I know it's like the worst Daft Punk song ever but it's still above a Lincoln commercial.

In other news, I haaaven't been able to ever stop listening to Daft Punk's Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2008 runway mix. My two favorite things ever? Hello? If you are an awesome musician you should be required to do a runway mix.

Honey, You Should Know

I just bought tickets to see Coldplay at the Izod Center on October 27. I really wanted to see them this summer at Wachovia Spectrum but the seats were twice as expensive and twice as shitty. I just wish I was seeing them this summer because I love summer shows and also because I want it now. Whatever though I don't even care because I seriously just love Coldplay so much and they make me cry. Also I really can't miss the opportunity to hear Lost live.

According to the New York Post, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told an audience at London's Opera House that he'll no longer perform 'Green Eyes' because it's not about Gwyneth Paltrow. "The reason we don't play it is it's not about the right person," Martin told the audience the other day. "It's like an old pair of trousers, that song. It doesn't fit."

I don't have any idea when this video was from and I don't really care.
